What You’ll Do
The Grants Administration Associate is responsible for supporting the Grants Team by completing the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
Position requires a hybrid work model with two days in-office per week. Salary range is $51,000 - $55,000 plus 7% annual discretionary bonus.
Duties And Responsibilities - Enter grant recommendations received via paper recommendations.
- Track Board of Trustee and Employee matching gifts.
- Administer special projects as assigned such as:
- Printing and preparing weekly grant checks for mailing to charities as needed.
- Researching returned checks and completing reissuance.
- Assisting with grant check stop and reissues, using ACH where possible.
- Verifying wire instructions, including issuing wires and generating & sending wire letters.
- Create supplemental letters.
- Support Grants Team in gathering all necessary paperwork for international granting.
- Oversee process of reissuing outstanding checks.
- Assist in database management and clean up (deduping/eliminating, wire instructions save in Stellar, ACH information).
- Support the Grants Team, as needed.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Two to five years’ relevant experience preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Detail oriented with very strong organizational and time management skills
- Capable of multi-tasking and keeping others well-informed
- Excellent verbal, writing, grammar and proofreading skills
- Competent and friendly telephone demeanor
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
- Self-motivated, possess high sense of initiative Experienced with database or processing work
- General knowledge and interest of philanthropy and charitable matters
- Success in being a contributing member of a team.
