CEO – Exciting Technology SME
Location: Exeter/Taunton - 5 days a week onsite.
We are looking for a dynamic hands on COO/CCO/CEO/CFO that wants to get under the bonnet to drive a engineer/technology/industrial solution group forward with international commercial growth.
You must of had experience in leading a group, levering the P&L and driving successful Commercial Growth within organisations.
Really someone that understands the Devon/Somerset type business's and local area' understanding as culture and being connected to the region is important for this role we believe.
The challenge
This role is for a passionate, hands-on CEO (ex-CEO, ex-COO) to join a quality organisation to get under the bonnet, drive growth, and commercial success and take this global SME forward and drive its success and growth.
This is a dynamic CEO position offering full autonomy to drive growth and scale the business.
Reporting to the Group through Financial and Operational reports, the CEO will have ultimate responsibility for the company's P&L, strategic direction, and overall performance and have the experience of Internationally driving commercial success, able to lever P&L’s to get the right growth and performance from the business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Driving Growth: Expand revenue from £10M upward from existing operations and target x2/x3 with new investments and opportunities.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring competitive positioning and sustainable growth across US, China and Europe.
- International Expansion: Leverage global opportunities, including international sales and joint ventures, to strengthen the company's global footprint.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize costs, drive gross margins, and enhance profitability through strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of 40-60 professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded leader with significant international experience and a proven track record of scaling organizations. You will have a strong grasp of P&L dynamics, market breakdown, and the levers to drive growth and profitability.
