The University of Suffolk is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Non-Executive Board Director to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our success, providing strategic guidance and direction to our organization. As a Non-Executive Board Director, you will work closely with our executive team, other board members, and stakeholders to ensure the university's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the university's executive team and board members
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Review and approve financial statements, budgets, and business plans
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners
Support the university's fundraising efforts and contribute to the development of fundraising strategies
Ensure the university's mission and values are reflected in all decision-making processes

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Non-Executive Board Director or similar role
Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of the higher education sector is preferred
Experience working in the Health, Nursing & Social Care industries is preferred
