Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Non-Executive Director (Investing NED) to join our Board. This individual will not only bring expertise and industry insight but will also make a financial investment into Peace & Pure, aligning their interests with the company’s growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of an emerging beauty & wellness brand while benefiting from high-growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment (EIS available): Commit to a financial investment in Peace & Pure as part of the appointment.
- Strategic Guidance: Provide high-level strategic oversight and challenge the executive team to drive sustainable growth.
- Corporate Governance: Ensure best practices in governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Business Development: Leverage industry networks to support partnerships, wholesale expansion, and funding opportunities.
- Mentorship & Advisory: Offer strategic mentorship to the leadership team, particularly in scaling a beauty brand from early-stage to market leadership.
- Brand & Market Expansion: Provide insights into market trends, customer behaviour, and international expansion strategies.
Selection Criteria:
We are looking for a high-calibre leader with below ideal profile:
- Experience and passion in the wellness, beauty, or luxury consumer goods sectors.
- A track record in scaling brands, navigating retail and e-commerce landscapes, and executing growth strategies.
- Investment experience, either as an angel investor or through prior NEDroles with financial contributions.
- A strong network within the industry, including suppliers, retailers, investors, and strategic partners.
- Experience in fundraising, M&A, or exit strategies is a plus.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for high-growth consumer brands.
Investment Requirement:
This role requires the appointed NED to make a financial investment in Peace& Pure. The specific investment terms will be discussed during the selection.
