Reliance Social Housing CIC began in August 2018 offering both social and non-social housing. We currently operate approximately 12,000+ of exempt accommodation units and 15 social housing general needs properties. Unlike most Housing Associations, Reliance uses a lease-based model which brings its own opportunities and challenges.
Having released the Corporate Plan at the end of 2024, we are now looking for additional Board and Committee Members to join our journey. We would love to hear from anyone that is interested and are particularly interested in hearing from people with the following skills / experience:
· Social Housing
· Health and Safety
· Business Development
· Communication
· IT and systems infrastructure
The Board meets six times a year, including away days but excluding additional training opportunities.
Committees meet quarterly and for additional training.
All meetings are held both in person and online.
All positions are remunerated and expenses are paid
